New to eSIM?

It’s a SIM card,
minus the plastic.

An eSIM is a SIM built into your phone. Instead of hunting for a shop and a pin tool, you scan a QR code and your phone downloads a travel data plan. Your normal SIM stays exactly where it is.

Two SIMs, one phone

Travel data runs on the eSIM. Calls, texts and WhatsApp stay on your usual number.

Set up in a minute

Add it in Settings with a QR code. No shop, no pin, nothing to lose.

Switch countries easily

Keep several eSIMs on your phone and turn on the one for where you are.

How it works

Three steps. About five minutes.

1

Pick your plan

Choose your destination, days and data. Pay with Shop Pay, Apple Pay or card.

2

Get your QR code

It lands in your inbox in seconds, with install steps for your phone.

3

Scan, land, connect

Add the eSIM at home on Wi-Fi. When you land, turn on data roaming for it.

eSIM basics

Visit the help centre
Do I need to remove my normal SIM?

No. Your physical SIM (or main eSIM) stays put. The travel eSIM sits alongside it.

Will I get a new phone number?

No. MobiWonder eSIMs are data only, so you keep your number for calls and texts.

Can I keep the eSIM after my trip?

You can delete it once the plan ends. Each QR code installs once, so don’t delete it mid-trip.

Does it work for tablets and laptops?

Yes, if they have eSIM support — like iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular or some Surface and ThinkPad models.
