Apple Devices Supporting eSIM

iPhone Models

The following iPhone models support eSIM functionality:

  • iPhone 16 Series: iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max.
  • iPhone 15 Series: iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max.
  • iPhone 14 Series: iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max.
  • iPhone 13 Series: iPhone 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max.
  • iPhone 12 Series: iPhone 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max.
  • iPhone 11 Series: iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max.
  • iPhone XS Series: iPhone XS, XS Max.
  • Other Models: iPhone XR, iPhone SE (2020 and 2022).

iPad Models

The following iPad models support eSIM only if they have Wi-Fi + Cellular capabilities:

  • Standard iPad: From the 7th generation onwards.
  • iPad Air: From the 3rd generation onwards.
  • iPad Pro:
    • 11-inch: From the 1st generation.
    • 12.9-inch: From the 3rd generation.
  • iPad Mini: From the 5th generation onwards.

Devices Without eSIM Capability

  • iPhone devices sold in Mainland China.
  • iPhone devices from Hong Kong and Macao, except for the following models:
    • iPhone 13 Mini
    • iPhone 12 Mini
    • iPhone SE (2020)
    • iPhone XS

Special Note for Turkey

For devices purchased in Turkey:

  1. If your device was set up after June 23, 2020, the eSIM will activate automatically. Contact your carrier for assistance if eSIM does not enable.
  2. If your device was set up before June 23, 2020, additional steps may be needed, which could require erasing your device. Make sure to back up your data before proceeding.

Samsung Devices

eSIM Supported Models:

  • Galaxy A Series: A55 5G, A54 5G, A35 5G, A23 5G.
  • Galaxy S Series: S24 (including S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE), S23 (including S23+, S23 Ultra, S23 FE, S23 5G), S22 5G, S21 5G, S20 Series (S20+, S20 Ultra).
  • Galaxy Z Series: Z Flip (3 5G, 4, 5, 6), Z Fold (2, 3, 4, 5, 6).
  • Galaxy Note Series: Note 20 (including 20 5G, 20 Ultra, 20 Ultra 5G).

eSIM Not Supported On:

  1. All Galaxy devices purchased in China, Hong Kong, or Taiwan.
  2. All FE (Fan Edition) devices, except S23 FE.
  3. US models of Galaxy S20, S21, and Note 20 Ultra.
  4. Most Korean devices, except S24, S23, Z Flip 5/4, Z Fold 5/4, and A54 5G models.

Google Pixel Devices

eSIM Supported Models:

  • Pixel 9 Series (including 9 Pro XL, 9 Pro Fold).
  • Pixel 8 Series (including 8a, 8 Pro).
  • Pixel 7 Series (including 7a, 7 Pro).
  • Pixel 6 Series, Pixel 5/5a, Pixel 4 Series, Pixel 3 Series.
  • Foldable Model: Pixel Fold.

eSIM Not Supported On:

  • Pixel 3: Versions sold in Australia, Taiwan, and Japan, or non-Sprint/Google Fi units in the US and Canada.
  • Pixel 3a: Southeast Asian models and Verizon-locked versions.

Important Notes:

  • eSIM functionality may vary based on region or carrier restrictions.
  • For locked devices (e.g., AT&T’s Surface Duo), eSIM support might be unavailable. Always confirm with the device origin and carrier.
